Modscene's Indoor Planter Range features an integrated water catchment system and removable internal nursery pots, making indoor planting practical without compromising on design.
HOW THE INDOOR PLANTER SYSTEM WORKS
Rather than planting directly into the decorative planter, our indoor system uses a removable nursery pot positioned inside the main planter. This allows plants to remain in their own growing containers, making them easier to install, maintain and replace.
Integrated Water Catchment
Each indoor planter features a sealed water catchment area designed to contain excess water draining from the internal nursery pot. Unlike traditional planters with drainage holes in the base, this system collects water within the planter, eliminating the need for an external saucer and helping protect surrounding floors and surfaces.
Any accumulated water can be removed using a sponge or by carefully tipping the planter when practical.
Selected models, including the Lisbon Indoor Planter, feature a removable water catchment compartment for even easier emptying and maintenance.
Removable Internal Nursery Pot
Plants are housed in a separate nursery pot that sits inside the decorative planter.
This makes installation and ongoing maintenance straightforward. Plants can be lifted out for inspection, watering or replacement without disturbing the main planter. It also provides flexibility when changing plants to suit different interiors or environments.
Intergrated Mulch Plate
An internal mulch plate sits neatly within the planter, concealing the nursery pot and creating a refined, finished appearance around the plant.
This allows the decorative planter and greenery to be presented as one complete arrangement while retaining easy access to the internal components.
