Modscene is a family-owned business based in New Zealand, creating planters and outdoor pieces for homes and projects across the country and beyond.
It didn’t happen overnight. What started as a search turned into years of testing, refining, and starting again. Time, resource, and a fair share of trial and error went into getting it right. What we make today is the result of that process. And it’s something we continue to build on.
INSPIRED BY A LEGACY
Our roots run deep. Back in 1995, grandad started a rotational moulding business. One of the original products was a simple square planter.
One of those originals is still with us today.
It’s held its place for decades.
Some things are worth carrying forward.

Tim is a co-owner and looks after our sales and marketing departments. Customer care, R and D, and sustainability are Tim's specialties.

Vanessa Miller
Vanessa's true happy place is behind the lens, and she looks after Modscene's photography department. She loves to travel and visit many of our amazing projects all over the country, capturing the beauty of Modscene in images.
Brian Miller
Brian is a Co-Owner and CFO. He ensures the accounts are perfect and doesn't leave 10 cents out of place. In reality, he wears too many hats to list here!
