Set high above Wellington in Brooklyn, the White Treasure Box House is a multi-award-winning residence defined by its striking monochromatic architecture, intricate detailing and expansive views across Wellington city and harbour.

Designed by Andrew Sexton Architecture and built by Planit Construction, the home embraces an almost entirely white palette, allowing form, texture and natural light to become central to the architecture.

The project received major recognition at the 2023 Registered Master Builders House of the Year Awards, taking out Wellington & Wairarapa Supreme House of the Year, Over $1 Million. It also received the Resene New Home $2 Million $4 Million Category Award.

The landscape was designed by Hamish Moorhead Landscape Design, with Modscene Lisbon and Barcelona planters incorporated into the outdoor spaces. Their simple architectural forms complement the home's strong geometry and restrained palette, allowing the planting and architecture to work together without competing for attention.
